The truth is that none of us are immune to stress. It permeates every part of our lives and sometimes it’s just too easy to miss. Oftentimes, I don’t even notice I’m stressed until the thing stressing me out has finished, the stress leaves, and my mind goes, “wow, that was really bad”. It’s a horrible habit and I don’t recommend it. Do as I say, not as I do, okay? But when I started using my doTERRA essential oils and developing a routine with them, my awareness of my emotional wellbeing grew. We have a responsibility to ourselves to achieve and maintain that emotional awareness and to care for ourselves accordingly.
Over the past four years of being part of the doTERRA community, I have learned to identify those moments of emotional weakness. Before oils, I would have suffered in silence or lashed out at my loved ones. Now, I pop the top off my diffuser and add one of these lovely blends.
These are just three of my favorite blends. They are my go-tos and a major part of my day, especially as I’m working or taking some “me time”. You deserve to give yourself the gift of self-care. And a practice like self-care should be simple — it shouldn’t cause more stress!
